FAQ
Straight answers to common questions.
Costs, timelines, ownership, SEO, support — the things people usually want to know before hiring a web designer.
Pricing & plans
How much does a website cost?
Our four packages range from $500 to $2,750 up front, plus a monthly plan of $50 to $225, depending on the features and support you need. Every project gets a written quote before any work begins, so there are no surprise invoices. A free consultation is the quickest way to find the right fit.
Do you offer monthly website plans?
Yes. Every package includes a monthly plan alongside the one-time build fee. It covers hosting, ongoing care and support, and the level of support depends on the package. What your plan includes is written into your quote before you buy.
Timeline & process
How long does a website take to build?
Most small-business sites take a few weeks from kickoff to launch. Larger sites or projects with booking, payments or custom integrations take longer. The biggest variable is usually content — having your text and photos ready speeds things up. We’ll give you a timeline with your quote.
Ownership & hosting
Do I own my website?
Yes. Once your project is paid for, the website content and design created for you are yours. Your domain should always be registered in your name — if it isn’t today, we’ll help you sort that out. Specific ownership terms are included in your agreement.
Do you provide hosting?
Yes. Hosting is part of the monthly plan in every package. We host your site on fast, modern infrastructure and manage it for you.
After launch
Can you maintain the site after launch?
Yes — and we’d like to. We offer ongoing maintenance and update plans, and you’ll deal with the same people who built your site. If you’d prefer to manage it yourself, we’ll hand it over with the information you need.
What happens after the site launches?
We make sure everything is working, walk you through your site and stay available for questions. From there you can choose an ongoing care plan, request updates as needed, or manage it yourself. Either way, you won’t be left guessing who to call.
Features & integrations
Can you redesign my existing website?
Yes. We start by reviewing what you have — content, structure and how it currently shows up in search — so the new site keeps what works. We plan redirects for existing pages so links and search visibility aren’t thrown away.
Can you add online booking?
Yes. Depending on your business, that might mean integrating a scheduling tool you already use, or building a custom booking flow connected to your calendar. We’ll recommend the simplest option that works well.
Can you add payment processing?
Yes, through established payment providers such as Stripe — for deposits, invoices, one-off payments or checkout. Card details are handled by the payment provider, never stored on your website.
Can you connect my site to other business tools?
Often, yes. Many CRMs, email platforms, calendars and review tools can connect to your website. We’ll look at what you use and tell you honestly what’s possible, what it would take and whether it’s worth it.
Will my website work on mobile?
Yes. We design for phones first and test on a range of screen sizes. Most of your visitors will likely arrive on a phone, so the mobile experience gets as much attention as the desktop one.
Do you provide SEO?
Every site we build includes SEO foundations: fast pages, clean structure, page titles and descriptions, structured data, a sitemap and Search Console setup. What we won’t do is promise rankings — no one can honestly guarantee a position in Google. Strong foundations and useful content give you the best chance.
Can you build an online store?
Yes. For smaller catalogs, a lightweight checkout often works best. For larger stores, we may recommend building on an established e-commerce platform. We’ll recommend what fits your products, budget and how you want to manage orders.
Working with us
Do you only work with Indiana businesses?
No. We’re based in Indiana and enjoy working with local businesses, but we work remotely with businesses anywhere in the U.S. Consultations happen by video call or phone.
What do I need before getting started?
Not much. It helps to know what your business offers, who your customers are and what you want the website to do. If you have a logo, photos or existing text, great — if not, we’ll talk through options. The free consultation is designed to help you figure the rest out.
