Overview
Ironline is a fictional strength and conditioning gym. The concept explores how a gym website can serve two audiences at once: intimidated beginners deciding whether to try a class, and existing members who just need today’s schedule.
Challenge
Gym websites often lead with intensity — which is great for regulars and off-putting for the people the gym most needs to reach. Pricing is frequently hidden, and booking a first class takes a phone call.
Approach
- 01Lead with a single, low-pressure offer: a free intro session.
- 02Put the week’s class schedule one tap from the homepage for members.
- 03Show membership options openly so price isn’t a mystery.
- 04Design the mobile layout first — most visitors arrive from social media on a phone.
Design
A dark, high-contrast palette with a single signal color, heavy condensed uppercase headings and generous space so the energy doesn’t become noise.
